Here I am with the master angler Bo Higbee when we shot a episode of Fishing The East for release on video cd.  I will have this available shortly from the web site  and in the store .  you will find back bay action and lots of tips on how to get these stripers to bite in our estuaries.

Joe caught this 11 1/2 lb beauty yesterday all by himself and I promised I'd get it up her for him pronto.  His dad said he soloed all the way and you can see he can hardly hold it up by himself.  I see we have a new striper fanatic among us.

Al Weigel caught this 35" striper at Meadow Cut on 8/12/01 which may be my last trip of the year.  A steady pick resulted in 10 fish, all legal size, but all released except the last one I caught for a final fresh striper dinner.

My brother Tim had to show us all up on Thanksgiving with this bass that weighed in at an honest 20 lb.

My two brothers in law Tom Hagaman and Mike Tull show off some more of our Thanksgiving catch
Mike can show some of his Pokamoke MD neighbors that NJ has Rockfish here as well..

Here's Eddie with the biggest of 16 stripers caught on 11/12/01 from the Goosebuster a nice 36"18 lb fish

Walt and Eddie with the limit they brought home.  Eels and Clams accounted for all the fish

Stripers like this one are filling up the weakfish holes through thru Absecon Can Buoys

When the wind blows find a spot to get out.  I had to go all the way to Little Beach to find a good drift, but this released 16 lb fish made it worthwhile.

This is the biggest release so far off the Goose Buster. A fat 39" and a solid 20 lb.  I look forward to seeing some real cows swim away to spawn next year.

John of All Trades, is turning into quite a fisherman along with anything else he might do.  Broad Creek was where he hooked up with this beauty

Shawn weighed in this pretty pair, obviously a great day fishing.

Bill Lake keeps them coming, I guess I have to include a picture sometime.

Bill's new fishing partner is almost as enthusiastic as he is and can catch fish like this fatty.

Mark came all the way from Ohio to catch this one,

Bill and Judy show off a pair of bass we brought home for dinner on a trip on the Goose Buster

Here's a big one Judy caught in Reeds bay just before we gave it it's freedom.

Here's the traveling pair that trailered their own boat and caught them on their own, with a little direction from me.

Tom Pacula broke the 20 lb mark with this beauty

Steve Naylor finally gets on the scoreboard with these two beauties.

This big bellied 25 lb bass came from Wreck Inlet one of the catch from the photo below.

With fish and a smile like this you just have to see why striper fishing is so great.

The 22 lb bass that Mike caught off the Longport Jetty and entered in the Atlantic County Surf Tournament dwarf's his buddies respectable keeper.  Good work I hope it wins for this week.

Shawn VanDaley weighted in these two fish for the Absecon Saltwater Sportsmen Tournament.  they might not be the biggest, but as he said anything to keep from being listed in last place.

Definitely the catch of the day, Steve Naylor took his mom fishing on a beautiful Sunday morning and she showed him up by catching this 22 lb beauty, Her first striper ever.

Kenny Warner caught this 22 1/2 lb striper behind little Beach on an eel 10/19/01.  The Result of a great fall vacation day with his mom who caught the 28" fish below.

A Great Catch for Mom

Matt caught this beauty deep in Broad Creek, but he was disappointed by his big sister which broke him off.

Here is the Pair.  Little Dave caught the biggest.

his Midnight Bass ate my eel on 10/15/01, was one of two to the boat see them below

Capt. Bill Lake put this 15 lb Bass on the dock, caught in the ICW.  He put back two bigger fish, They are eating the eels. 10/16/01

Here is the big man himself, Al Mc Renolds with is son Tom with last nights catch 10/16/01

This is Dave's 13 1/2 lb striper that kept him up late on a school night

Nelson Moy keeps the good luck rolling on the Miss Vicky with this fish he caught himself.

Another Beautiful Bass brought in this
week

Fred Maul brought in this 15 lb inlet Bass caught Sunday between all the crowds, some guys have all the luck

Here are the first two stripers I brought Home this season.  One perfect slot fish 27 1/2" and one 30" two of four on 10/11/01 in Little Bay on Bunker and eels

Truffle wanted to fetch the big one, but it was slippery.  I hope he gets as interested in hunting as he is fishing.

This one didn't get away, but I did let the 32" fish go, the biggest of the day.

John Rafficci took time off from running his restaurant to fish with Nelson Moy on the Miss Vicky 10/9/01 just past the Brigantine Bridge at the top of the tide and caught this beautiful 35" bass to start Nelson's season

Vince Cannizzano signed up for the Atlantic County Surf derby on Friday evening and came back Saturday morning with this 30" striper from the Longport Jetty.  A little short to register for the tournament, but a nice fish for sure.

Tom and Al McRenolds Jr. show off the 11 lb bass and 8.75 blue caught on the beach front of AC Tuesday Night.
