This 35 pounder was
caught on 10/26/01 on live eel by Walt Woerner. This beauty was 43 inches
long with a 27 inch girth. Crushed my rod but managed to horse em' in
anyhow. This was my biggest one yet.

I convinced my girl Ming join me in a little
striper fishing today. The conditions were perfect; sunny, warm and very
little wind. We fished Broad Creek & Steelmans Thoroughfare with no luck
so we headed over to Black Point. After a few short drifts Ming boated
this 15 lber who gobbled up her live eel.

On
11/4/01, we (Ed, Chris, and Tony) pulled a 48 inch stripper from the Rips
in
the Delaware Bay weighing 44 pounds. Lots of fun in Cape May that day... |
Back in the hole I was working Friday for twin 26"
bass, I parked on the meadow today while waiting for the tide to run
harder. I threw a eel in 19 ft water and set my pole down to cut some
chum. My line immediately started to drift to the right as the tide was
slow to the left.
I picked up my pole and couldn't get tension on
the line.reeling moderately fast ,the line was drifting toward the boat.
I managed a tight line at the same time the fish surfaced 15 ft behind
the boat. It had 3 inch tall of my eel hanging out it's lip and it swam
right up to the boat as I reeled it into the net. If it knew it was
hooked, it was suicidal. 32 " 10.5 lb. Justa nutha day in da bay...TDB
