Why change the name, it works!
Last fall I got lucky and got a great deal on this 20' Scout open bow walk thru. It should really upgrade the fishing experience. I did get a couple test trips last December and I was impressed with all aspects of the boat. I even managed to get my first keeper on the boat the last trip I made.
It is big enough to carry a third man easily and more comfortable for a family trip. I hope to do a lot more searching the bunker schools this spring in hopes of landing more big guys. However this boat won't draw any more water than the Pro Line so I will be able to hit all my back bay hot spots.
Before this boat hits the water it will be equipped with a new trolling motor and electronics. It will be ready to find the fish and stay on them. The big live well will keep all the HERRING or Spot alive that we might need. So be ready for a great trip.
17' Proline

I'm keeping the original www.abseconbay.com available and ready to go. It will be ready as a backup and I may put it in the Mullica River to give the spawning run a try.
This is a 17' Proline which may sound a little on the small size, but I have always liked this model since it has a wide beam, a decent dead rise with a good v-bottom to break the back bay slop and a high freeboard to keep the splashing waves out. Since I drive the skinny water and the small spots this is just about perfect for getting there.
The best feature of this is the 24 volt MinnKota Riptide trolling motor that I have mounted of the bow. This turns the boat into the ultimate hunting machine and I have two depth finders including a Llowrance color GPS sounder combo to make sure I'm in the right spot and also make sure I can find my way in the dark or fog.
