Kyle Gogan threw his fin-ss where Grandpop told him and came up with this 4 pound beautiful weakfish from a local bridge


My first Keeper of the season fishing with Tom Newman from Manesquan who really likes the back bay fishing here.  We beat up on the bluefish, but they beat up on the HERRING.  GULP was the answer for bass.  we had 4 shorts plus this one for dinnre.


This 25 pound beauty came out of the Egg Harbor River at the bulkhead in Mayslanding on Sunday 4/27/08 and ate a popper at mid-day.


This was a last chance tog before the season closed and weighed 7 pounds

This nice fish came out of the cold on a rainy wet weekend.

Dr. Foster brought the first legal bass to the boat on his 4/24/08 charter on a live HERRING by the 178 marker

Here is the proof on the scale!

This is a picture of the pieces of lead found in a 37" striper caught by Barbara Jenkins on Brigantine Beach.  Evidently they are the result of a New England Fishing method calles "Yo-yoing Pogies where dead Bunker are rigged with internal weights and deep jigged,  see "REPORT"


Gulp helped out on a school of mixed stripers and bluefish at Main Marsh


Here his trusted partner brought in another short.  We had about ten to the boat

This 27" striper ate a HERRING by the Osprey nest, Just to short to eat.


The flounder keep getting bigger this is one of two that jumped on the GULP 4/24/08 both were over 4 pounds.


The First Striper trip of the year turned into the first flounder trip on 4/15/08 When I caught this one of two flounder that ate the GULP!

 

Luke Robinson pinned the scale at 7 pounds for his first Brigantine Bridge Tog


Alex Showell caught Keeper #3 in front of the Sweetwater Casino March 22 winning him the $50 gift certificate


Gorden Muller broke the 20 pound mark late evening on April 5th  and brought it in first thing in the morning on April 6th. to get the $100 gift certificate



 JAMES RAUSH fished with Gordon Muller and had this fish that fell just shy of the 20 pound mark.
