Spot are once again on the Menu, I'm loaded up with lots of big, fat and juicy ones that are waiting to sacrifice themselves to Striped Bass

5/2/2011

Pete Aschenbach did a lot of time helping me with my nets and earned the live HERRING that fooled this big'gun.

5/3/2011

Mike Mangan is becoming the terror of Broad Creek Stripers. Here's another good one and you probably are still thinking about flounder.

I'm filling the tanks with some of the biggest minnows you can get, so don't worry about your opening day Flounder Bait Stop by Absecon Bay Sportsman Center

5/4/2011

Pete didn't stop a little rain from launching his canoe by the sewerage plant and taking a short paddle to hook up with this 16.5# bass while drifting a clam off the back. This was enough for dinner so he released the 2nd fish.

4/20/2011

Capt. Tony hit "The Bridge" for the start of TOG fishing out of Absecon Bay, this was the days lunker 4.5#

This ugly mug was at my nets keeping them clean, I just wish more HERRING would show up.

Mary Solinski has been playing Havoc with Egg Harbor River Stripers.

Last week she just missed the 30# Mark with a 28#, but this one easily made the grade and she took home a $100 Gift Certificate.  She has been using the Fresh HERRING to a great advantage.

Bruce the Bartender fishes the Mullica out of this little yellow Kayak and put it to good use to Bring in this 27.5# beauty.

A HERRING  head was the downfall of this fish.

4/9/2011

Terri was banging Bass on the Mullica on Saturday Morning and I got excited and had the wrong camera setting.

4/9/2011

Capt. Tony Genovese was really hunting giant Mullica Perch, but he soaked a HERRING chunk an got his first keeper of the year.

4/4/2011

Bill Granato tried hard to get this beautiful bass to break the 30# mark.  It ate Herring Chunks along with two more 35" fish that were kept and several more released.

When hung on the scale it showed 26.3# shich still is a great fish, especially when the the average angler hasn't even started yet.

Getting close the Motor is on, electronics hooked up.

The fish are starting to bite and we're looking good.  Booking Spring Live Bait Charters NOW

My supply of Berkley GULP is second to none and the GULP alive will be great for the May Flounder Fishing.

It pulled the scale to 19 pounds.

3/3/2011

Jeff Normant pulled up to the store in wet waders and had a flopping fish in his hands about 3 pm

In this contest size doesn't mater but it was a 29", 8.40 pound pretty fish that took the 3rd place prize

3/20/2011

The worms are here we just need some pictures of the stripers that eat them

3/1/2011

Nick Nastasi brought this 18.2 pound whopper into the store about 10:30 this morning (3/1/2011) that he caught in the Waretown area before dawn this morning and claimed the prize.

It got him a new Shimano 5000 Stratic that he will use to throw morelures tonight in search of #2.

3/20/2011

Dan Large stopped by the store and bought a mess of fresh HERRING and chunked them in the Mullica River.  This 26.05# bass was the result that earned him the $100 gift certificate for the first striper over 20#
